Release Overview

This release delivers a series of enhancements to TeamHub Talk for both CommUnity and Business Voice users, aimed at improving usability, visibility, and overall user experience across the desktop and web platforms. It introduces new functionality to support more effective call management while also addressing several interface inconsistencies.

In addition to feature enhancements, this update includes user interface refinements and stability improvements designed to ensure a more reliable and consistent experience for all users.

Users can now manage how incoming calls are handled during an active call. Two new options are available under TeamHub > Settings > Talk Settings > Call Preference:

·         Auto-decline new calls while already on a call

·         Play a single beep instead of a full ring for incoming calls

These settings help minimize interruptions while maintaining awareness of incoming calls. For configuration instructions, reference the appropriate guide below:

Users will now be able to receive incoming call notifications in TeamHub Talk on both desktop and web platforms. This enhancement ensures that important business calls are not missed, even when the app is minimized or running in the background.

As part of this update, users can configure their preferences under:
Settings > Talk Settings > Alerts/Sounds > Calls > Incoming Calls,
where they will have the option to enable or disable both Banner and Sound notifications.

Warm Transfers now work correctly without requiring a site prefix when dialing internal extensions on the same site. The button remains visible and functional throughout the transfer process.

Users will now be able to see a clear on-screen indication when a call is being barged or whispered directly within the call card interface in TeamHub Talk. Previously, these notifications were only delivered through browser alerts, which could be missed if notifications were disabled. With this update, a visible message will appear in the call window itself, ensuring users are always aware when a supervisor has joined the call in either barge or whisper mode. This enhancement provides greater transparency and awareness during active calls.

Known Issue for CommUnity Users: Dropped Calls During Warm Transfers with Auto-Decline Active:

There is a known issue involving the auto decline option where changing your active phone device with auto-decline active in TeamHub during a warm transfer can result in a dropped call.

Please avoid switching devices while a warm transfer is in progress and auto decline is turned on. The issue will be addressed in the upcoming release.
