Vega Gateways - How to connect Vega Gateways to SNMP server

Vega side

  1. Connect to Vega through the GUI

  2. Navigate to ‘Expert Config’ and choose ‘Logging’ from the left menu

  3. In the SNMP Communities define a name for the community and check off ‘Get’, ‘Set, and ‘Traps’

  4. In the SNMP manager set the SNMP server IP address and subnet mask

 

SNMP server side

  1. load either V1 or V2 of the MIB files into your SNMP server based on its version.
