SSH Server

SSH (Secure Shell) version 2 is supported on the IMG 2020 and by default is set to the Disable state. The SSH Server object allows a user to disable or enable the SSH protocol at any time. Using an application that supports the SSH2 protocol, enter the IP address of the IMG 2020. When asked, enter the login information as displayed below:

Dial0gic (Capital D, Zero for o)

SSHv1 is not supported on the IMG 2020 Release 2.x.

Maximum Objects

One SSH Server object can be created per IMG 2020 Node (IMG 2020).

To logon to the IMG 2020 using SSH, the SSH Server field must be set to Enable. The IMG 2020 supports SSHv2.

Field Descriptions

SSH Server (Default: Disable)

Select from drop down menu whether to enable or disable the ability to logon to the IMG 2020 using the Secure Shell protocol.

Enable - SSH is enabled and remote access to the IMG 2020 can be achieved.

Disable - SSH is disabled and remote access to the IMG 2020 can NOT be achieved.

Default Address Override (Default: Disable)

Select from drop down menu whether to enable or disable the ability to select another configured IP addresses with source endpoint property set to services.

Enable - Other IP addresses can be selected.

Disable - Default IP address is selected.

IP Type (Default: IPv4)

IP Type (Default: IPv4)

Select from drop down menu the IP type of the IP Address listed in the IP Address drop down menu.

IPv4 - Configured IPv4 addresses are populated in the IP Address drop down menu.

IPv6 - Configured IPv6 addresses are populated in the IP Address drop down menu.

Monitoring Fields

SSH Connection Status - Displays the status of the SSH connection (connected or disconnected). 

Remote IP Address - Displays the IP address of the remote host that is connecting to the IMG 2020.
