Switchvox - Transfer spawns a second call
Sometimes when blind transferring a call the user will end up hearing a voicemail greeting or being transferred into a queue themselves. This can be caused by inadvertently hitting the Rapid Dial Key for a transfer twice, originating a second call to that extension. You can set up the Rapid Dial Keys to immediately transfer calls using the following steps:
Go to setup>extensions>manage, login as user on the desired extension
Select Features>Phonebooks>Modify Phonebook Options
Set "Blind Transfer Rapid Dial" to yes
Save Phonebook options
Transfers can now be accomplished by pressing transfer then the rapid dial key.
