Sangoma Meet - Installing and Using the Outlook Add-In
Overview
This page describes the installation and use of the Microsoft Outlook Add-In for Sangoma Meet.
Installation
To install the Outlook Add-In for Sangoma Meet, please follow this procedure.
First, from the Home menu of the Mail screen, click on the Get Add-Ins menu item in the tool bar The Get Add-Ins menu item is located on the right-hand side.
After clicking this button, you will be presented with the Office Add-Ins screen. It looks something like this:
From this screen, select the Search add-ins box to the top right hand side of the screen and type Sangoma Meet. You will be presented with the following screen. Then Click Add:
You have successfully installed the Outlook Add-in for Sangoma Meet.
Usage
To use the Outlook Add-In for Sangoma Meet, begin by scheduling a new Appointment. On the Appointment screen, you will see a new option Invite to Meet.
Click this option and you will see the Add-in information screen appear on the right side of the Appointment window as such:
This information screen provides some helpful hints about using the Add-in and will only be seen this first time, before you begin using it. Press the Continue button to progress. Having pressed the button, you will see that meeting links have been automatically added into your Appointment. They are added into the Location field as well as the body of the Appointment, with a clickable URL for audio+video and a clickable telephone number for audio-only, as such:
Once the Appointment is saved, you and all other participants for the appointment be able to see the joining details for the Sangoma Meet meeting as such:
