How to mark a voicemail unread from voicemail access

Sometimes you will want to check messages and mark them as unread for later but be unable to access your extension's web interface to accomplish this. While there is no explicit option to mark a message as unread through voicemail access, below are some steps for a helpful work-around:

  1. Dial into Voicemail Access (Default 899)

  2. Listen to a message

  3. Press 8 to forward message to voicemail

  4. Enter your own extension to forward to your mailbox and appear as a new message
