Changes and improvements

  • Desktop app redirection for supported platforms (Windows, Mac).
    Opening an invitation link via web on the above platforms will initiate a request to open the app on the desktop application, which can be accepted or rejected.
    Launch the conference on the browser can be done per conference or set as the default;

  • Added link for Outlook add-in on welcome page.

Minor fixes

  • Fixed issue where clicking on "i" before joining the conference would prevent the user from joining it;

General changes and improvements

Predictable Moderator
  • The first user that enters the conference becomes the moderator;

  • If the user exits or gets disconnected moderator will NOT be transferred to other users;

  • When original moderator re-enters the conference they will automatically become moderator again.

  • Please note:

    • Once we introduce users and credentials, moderator control will be based on conference creator;

    • At this time we are focusing on provide a free quality service without the complication of users and passwords.

  • New Meet Cluster in Central US to allow us to better serve our US customers.

Mobile app

Improvements
  • Mobile will automatically switch to Tile View when more than 2 parties are present.

  • Simplified side menu to make access to choices easier

  • Toggle camera is now accessible on the menu

Web interface

Improvements and fixes
  • Info dialog would show a link without the password while the conference was being created.
    The shareable link can now only be shared when password is properly assigned to the conference.

  • Updated links for app stores with final release of mobile applications.
