To allow access to voicemail from an IVR you have to allow extension dialing in the IVR. You will also have to allow the user to press "*" during the voicemail greeting to log in. To get to their voicemail they will call into the IVR dial their extension number and press "*" during their voicemail greeting. The user will be prompted for the voicemail password followed by the # sign. 
 

To allow extension dialing in the IVR: 

  1. Click on Tools -> IVR Editor

  2. Click the icon of the yellow pencil next to the IVR you wish to edit.

  3. Click modify options 

  4. In the Enable Extension Dialing section Select All Extensions from the drop down box.

  5. Click the Save Extension Dialing Setting button

To allow the user to press "*" during the voicemail greeting:

  1. Click on Tools -> Voicemail

  2. In the During a voicemail greeting, callers may push the "*" key to log into the current voicemail box click the slider to YES

  3. Click Save Voicemail Routing Settings

Then you will have access to the voicemail box.
