IMG 1010 - Starting ClientView

To start ClientView and connect to the IMG, perform the following steps:

From Linux:

ClientView can be started by double clicking on the icon that was placed on the desktop during installation. If the icon is not on the desktop then the ClientView file located in /opt/dialogic/IMG/IMGUserInterface/ClientView can be run. To run the ClientView executable enter the following command:

 $./ClientView

From Windows®

ClientView can be started by double clicking on the icon that was placed on the desktop during installation. If the icon is not on the desktop then the ClientView file located in c:\Program Files\dialogic\IMGUserInterface\ClientView. To run the ClientView executable double click on the ClientView icon.

ClientView:

  • The first window that appears is the About Dialogic® ClientView window appears. Information such as environment variables, Product/Company information, etc can be accessed by clicking through the Tabs. Once done clicking through the tabs, click Close. The Client Socket window appears as displayed below


    Username: admin
    Password: admin (Default) (Password can be changed if needed)
    Primary Host Name or IP Address: This is the IP Address of the Primary or Standalone GCEMS Server being connected to. If ClientView is running on the GCEMS server, leave the default (localhost).
    Secondary Host Name or IP Address: This is the IP Address of the Secondary GCEMS Server if GCEMS redundancy is being configured. If ClientView is running on the GCEMS server, leave the default (localhost).
    GCEMS Port: The Port Number GCEMS is using to communicate with IMG.

  • Click OK.The ClientView Pane can now be accessed for configuration etc. See the on-line Help for detailed configuration information.
