Description:

The Facility Tab has a field which displays the Synchronization Mode for the IMG. The Synchronization Mode field displays what timing source is being used to sync the IMG to the network. The following is a list of timing sources available to the IMG:

  • Primary Reference Clock Signal

  • Secondary Reference Clock Signal

  • Primary Loop Clock Signal

  • Secondary Loop Clock Signal

  • Free Running Clock Signal

These timing sources are configured through the Synchronization Priority List object in ClientView. See IMG 1010 - Configuring a Synchronization Priority List

The Facility Object is also a container object from where you can configure individual TDM or IP spans. The Facility object is created under the Physical IMG Object (IMG Name). After the Facility object is created the TDM and IP Spans can get created by right clicking on the Facility Object and selecting one of the following:

New TDM DS1 (see IMG 1010 - Configuring T1 or E1 Signaling Spans - 10.5.x or IMG 1010 - Configuring T1 or E1 Bearer Spans - 10.5.x )

New TDM DS3 (see IMG 1010 - DS3 Physical Span Configuration - 10.5.x)

New Bearer IP (see IMG 1010 - VoIP Resource)

To configure a range of TDM spans, use the IMG 1010 - Facility Wizard.
