Description:
Within each separate object pane in the ClientView GUI are a set of buttons that each perform a separate task when selected. The buttons are located below the configuration pane on each of the separate objects as displayed below. The buttons explained below are buttons which are displayed in multiple ClientView Object Panes. There are also buttons that do specific functions such as "Switch Over" which will switch a Primary and Secondary role in SS7 Redundancy. These buttons are described in each of their own individual topics. Below is an explanation of some of the main buttons and what functions they provide.

After finishing the configuration process and the IMG is configured, the file created can be examined to see if there are any possible errors in the configuration. A report is created and loaded into /opt/dialogic/common/reports/ ValidationReport_< Timestamp> directory. The report will indicate any possible errors in the configuration. This report is often used to troubleshoot why the configuration file just created isn't working correctly. See IMG 1010 - Validating Your Configuration and IMG 1010 - Sample Validation Report for more information.

The IMG Configuration Wizard button is another tool developed to aid the user when configuring an initial IMG. When the IMG Configuration button is pressed, the ClientView/GCEMS applications will inspect the current configuration and make a determination as to which object needs to be configured next. The wizard will then proceed to ask questions and proceed to help creating the configuration for the IMG. See the IMG 1010 - Configuration Wizard topic for more information.

The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor various areas on network links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing PNG images which provide a live visual representation of this traffic. To generate MRTG logs, press the MRTG Scripts button. You can also update MRTG in theĀ IMG 1010 - Channel Groups pane. See IMG 1010 - Overview of MRTG.
