In current PBX versions, a fax recipient's settings are configured in the User Management Module and no longer in the Extensions module as faxing is now configured by user, not by extension. This means you can now have "standalone" fax users, but the user must still be linked to a primary extension. In cases where there is no associated device for the user, link the user to an unused virtual extension. After you've enabled fax for a user and once it has been linked to an extension, you'll be able to select that fax recipient as a destination in other modules. |

Receiving a fax in UCP is easy - just check your Inbox! You don't need to be logged into UCP at the time a fax is received. In UCP, after clicking Fax in the main menu, click the Inbox menu item to view the inbox.
