This task configures digit matching and translation and is optional. Either a Dialed Number or an Originating Number can be translated. Translation from a null number to a null string is supported. Translation from a null string to digits is not supported. To translate on both Dialed Number and Originating Number, see IMG 1010 - Advanced Translation Features.

Important Note:
There are a couple ways to download a Translation Table. Below are the two methods.
A Translation Table will not get sent to the IMG until you click the Save Translation Table button shown below. Selecting the commit option does not download the table. After the Translation Table has been modified, click Save Translation Table button.
OR
In ClientView if you are editing a translation table both that object and the parent object will have a cached icon. You can continue to make changes to the table without downloading the table to the IMG. When done with all of the edits select an object outside of the parent object and the table will be downloaded.
Creating a Translation Table
Right-click Routing Configuration and select New Incoming Translation Tables or New Outgoing Translation Tables.
Right-click Incoming Translation Tables or Outgoing Translation Tables and select New Translation Table. The IMG 1010 - Translation Table pane appears.
Enter a descriptive name in the Translation Table Name field.
Adding Entries to a Translation Table
Right-click the table name you just created and select New Translation Entry. The IMG 1010 - Translation Entry pane appears.
