This page describes the currently available software releases for the Sangoma Vega Media Gateways. In almost all cases, the correct software to use is the Recommended GA release for your hardware.

The release for some Vega gateways may include an accompanying DSP release.

Recommended (GA) Releases

General Availability (GA) releases are the recommended releases for the majority of customers and deployments. They support the full range of platforms and features.

A small number of Vega 60G BRI units have been incorrectly labelled as 60Gv2. These are not v2 variants and loading the v2 firmware will cause serious issues. If you have an affected unit please contact support to arrange a replacement.

Release 13.1 GA Releases

Note that in release 13.0 and above the default password on install will be set to the serial number of the unit with all characters in lower case. This can be found on the regulatory label attached to the unit or on the packaging.

Strictly for Vega 100 Gv2 / 200 Gv2 / 400 Gv2 Digital devices.

This must not be used on Vega 100 G / 200 G/ 400 G / 4x4 / 60 Gv2.These are not digital v2 variants and loading the v2 firmware will cause serious issues. If you have an affected unit please contact support to arrange a replacement.

This firmware can be obtained by contacting Sangoma support.

There is a known issue with this firmware which displays an incorrect warning message about a corrupted kernel. This can be ignored.

Other Releases

The releases here are for certain customers who have specific requirements. They are not recommended for general use and Sangoma will only provide support for these releases if you have been told by us to use one of them. Please contact Sangoma to discuss your requirements before deploying in a production environment.
