IMG 1010 - Specifications

The IMG 1010 supports the following:

TDM:

Bearer Spans - 32 T1 interfaces that are scalable through licensing from 4 to 32 T1 spans (28 Bearer Interfaces + 4 Signaling/Timing Interfaces)

Bearer Spans - 24 E1 interfaces that are scalable through licensing from 3 to 24 E1 spans (20 Bearer Interfaces + 4 Signaling/Timing) Interfaces -or- (21 Bearer + 3 Signaling/Timing)

Bearer Spans - DS3 interface + 4 T1 interfaces (DS3 Interface + 4 Signaling/Timing Interfaces)

CTRL 0 and 1 - (2) Fast Ethernet for Network Management or VoIP signaling ---> 10/100 Mbit/sec

VoIP SIGNALING:

ROUTING:

The IMG 1010 supports up to 66 total Route/Cause Code/Service Routing Tables per EMS. Each table can support up to 5000 entries. The IMG 1010 has a max capacity of 100,000 entries, or 20 tables each with 5000 entries. For more information on Routing, see IMG 1010 - Overview of Routing.

MEDIA PROCESSING:

  • (2) DSP resource chips embedded on the main board used for generating announcements and tones across IP and TDM.

  • Each DSP resource can handle 128 Treatments. Max amount of Simultaneous treatments is 256.

  • The IMG 1010 can support up to 4096 discrete messages on board at any time. The total size of these messages must not exceed 32 Mbytes

    • G.711 = 64,000 bits/sec. which equates to around 1.1 hours of on board recordig

    • ADPCM = 32,000 bits/sec. which equates to a little over 2.2 hours  

  • The treatments are mapped in the release cause code table.

The IMG 1010 supports interworking between SIP/H.323/SS7/ISDN.

AdminView is a utility which allows a user to administer user passwords and privileges.

 

RADIUS:

The IMG 1010 uses the Remote Authentication Dial In User Service (RADIUS) protocol for recording Call Detail Records (CDR). The implementation is compliant with RFC 2865 and RFC 2866. The RADIUS messages are sent to external RADIUS servers.

REDUNDANCY:

The IMG 1010 supports redundancy for the following:

  • Network Management (CTRL 0 and CTRL 1 Ports)

  • RTP Management (Data 0 and DATA 1 Ports)

  • VoIP Signaling (Sig 0 and Sig 1 Ports)

  • SS7 Signaling

  • GCEMS
