IMG 1010 - Recommended Red Hat Linux Configuration and OS Settings

Partitioning

The tables below display the partitioning configured on the Dell Servers that can be purchased as an option when purchasing the IMG. There are three tables shown below. The first is for customers using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 or 4.0. The second table is for customers using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0 (Software 10.5.0 ER2 +). The third table is for customers using Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7.

Up to software version 10.5.3_ER2, GCEMS only supported the 32-bit version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. In software version 10.5.3_SP3, the GCEMS was tested and supports the 64-bit version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.0. In software version 10.5.3 SP19, the GCEMS only supports RHEL 5.9 Tikanga 32-bit, RHEL 6.7 Santiago 64-bit, CenOS 7.3 64-bit. See Items Required for Installation for the specific version that was tested.
