IMG 1010 - H.323 Keep Alive Timer

Overview:

This feature gives you the ability to control the value of the Time to Live parameter (optional) in the Registration Request (RRQ) from the IMG when registering with a gatekeeper. If no Time to Live is present in the Registration Request, the gatekeeper returns a value in the RCF which the IMG has no control over. By inserting the Time to Live value in the RRQ, the user has control over it as the gatekeeper normally returns the value requested by the endpoint in the RRQ. If the gatekeeper returns a different value, that will be the value used by the IMG in subsequent lightweight RRQs to maintain registration.
