IMG 1010 - Physical Port Configuration

Description:

The Physical Port Configuration object is created under the Network Interfaces object in ClientView. Use this pane to configure the Interface Mode for each port on the rear panel of the IMG. The ports on the rear panel of the IMG default to 10/100 Mb/s with Auto-Negotiation setup. ClientView allows you to change these settings to the following:

Forced 100 Mb/s

Forced Full Duplex communication

Select the desired mode of each port except the Ctrl Port.

This feature is not supported on the Control Ports (CTRL)

Dialogic IMG EMS-> Network Interfaces -> Physical Port Configuration

Maximum Objects:

1 per Physical IMG

ClientView Pane (IMG 1010):

The IMG 1010 supports Configuring Ports Data 0/1 Port Interface and SIG 0/1 Port Interface only.

ClientView Pane (IMG 1004):

The IMG 1004 supports Configuring Data Port Interface only.

Field Descriptions:

CTRL 0 Port 0 Interface:

Auto Negotiation (Default) - Negotiation between two devices. Auto Negotiation will automatically configure the connection with the highest performance mode of inter-operation. Auto Negotiation will choose the highest performance common transmission parameters, such as speed and duplex mode and negotiate to them.

CTRL 1 Port 0 Interface:

Auto Negotiation (Default) - Negotiation between two devices. Auto Negotiation will automatically configure the connection with the highest performance mode of inter-operation. Auto Negotiation will choose the highest performance common transmission parameters, such as speed and duplex mode and negotiate to them.

DATA 0 Port 0 Interface:

Auto Negotiation (Default) - Negotiation between two devices. Auto Negotiation will automatically configure the connection with the highest performance mode of inter-operation. Auto Negotiation will choose the highest performance common transmission parameters, such as speed and duplex mode and negotiate to them.

100 Full (not supported for CTRL 0/1) - Force the port to accept only 100 MB/s
