IMG 1010 - VoIP Resource

Description:

After configuring this pane, the VoIP Module (IMG1010) and VoIP Processor (IMG 1004) will be communicating with the Interface that is configured in the IP address object.

Accessing this Pane:

IMG EMS > Logical IMG > Physical IMG -> Facility > VoIP Resource

Maximum Objects:

IMG 1010 - 2 per Physical IMG 1010 (2 Modules)

IMG 1004 - 1 VoIP Processor per IMG 1004 (Embedded VoIP on Motherboard)

VoIP Resource Pane:

Field Descriptions:

Module ID:

Automatically populated with next available module ID. Can be changed by clicking in the Module ID field and selecting from drop down menu. Selections are 0 and 1. If ID:0 is selected in the Module ID field then the VOIP Module 0: Port 0 will automatically be chosen. If ID:1 is selected then VoIP Module1: Port 0 will be chosen. There are no VoIP Modules in the IMG 1004 so there is Module ID field on the Resource Pane.

Network Interface:

This field is automatically populated with either VOIP Module 0 or VOIP Module 1 depending on what ID was selected in the Module ID field and whether a second module is installed. On the IMG 1004 this is automatically populated with VoIP Processor and cannot be changed.

Network IP Address:

This field is automatically populated with the IP address configured for the VoIP Module selected.

Module Configuration Profile:

This field informs the user what profile is configured from the dhcpd.conf file. It also informs user what type of module is installed. (Picasso or BroadCom). This field cannot be changed

Starting RTP Port:

This field shows the default port that the RTP stream will use. To change the Port number click in the field and a range dialog box will appear. The port number can be changed there. Once the VoIP Module/Resource pane has been committed, the port cannot be changed. The object would have to be deleted and readded to change the port number

Fully Qualified Domain Name:

The FQDN to be inserted in outgoing SIP messages when FDQN is enabled in the IMG 1010 - SIP Profile - 10.5.1. See IMG 1010 - Fully Qualified Domain Name Support for more information.

Object Table:

Below is screen capture of the Object Table Tab. This tab displays the status of the IP bearer ports. See screen capture below.
