Pairing Bluetooth Headset

Bluetooth is only supported on the Sangoma s705 IP Phone

Enabling Bluetooth

  1. Press the Menu button

  2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

  3. Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

  4. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Bluetooth option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

  5. By default bluetooth will be disabled.
    To enable Bluetooth use the Switch button to toggle bluetooth On.  Then press the Save button


  6. The phone will save settings and enable Bluetooth



    At this point, the Bluetooth feature is enabled but not paired with any bluetooth devices (as noted by the small red x).
    To pair with a bluetooth device follow the next steps

Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

Verify that your bluetooth device is enabled in paring mode, then follow the below procedure

  1. Press the Menu button

  2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

  3. Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

  4. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Bluetooth option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

  5. Use the down arrow key and highlight Paired Bluetooth Device, then press the Scan button
    The phone will now search for nearby bluetooth devices/headsets to pair with

  6. Once you have selected the bluetooth device you wish to pair with, press the Connect button 

  7. The bluetooth device is now paired with the Sangoma phone, as noted by the blue checkmark beside the bluetooth device



    The home screen will also indicate bluetooth connectivity with the bluetooth symbol

Disconnecting from a Bluetooth Device

  1. Press the Menu button

  2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Setting option, then press the Enter button

  3. Highlight the Basic Setting option and press the Enter button

  4. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Bluetooth option (near bottom of the list), then press the Enter button

  5. Using the arrow buttons highlight the bluetooth device you wish to disconnect from, then press the Disconnect button
