Front Panel Interfaces and LEDs

The following illustration shows the front panel interfaces and LEDs:

Connector

Desscription

UART

Universal asynchronous receiver/transmitter. Requires a null modem serial cable for PC connection. Used for local access when IP connectivity is unavailable.

SD MEM

SD memory card slot.

RESET

System soft reset.

ACT/STBY

Reserved for future use. LED will be off.

ALARM

Indicates if the IMG 2020 is in an alarmed condition:

Off	No alarms raised
Yellow	At least one minor alarm raised
Red	At least one major alarm raised
Blinking Red	At least one critical alarm raised

Also used for boot error codes, refer to Front Panel LED Error Codes

T1/E1 (0 to 23)

Green	Signaling and framing present
Yellow	Remote alarm indicator
Red	No signaling and framing

Also used for boot error codes, refer to Front Panel LED Error Codes

OC-3 (Working and Protection)

Green	Signaling and framing present
Yellow	Remote alarm indicator
Red	No signaling and framing

DS3 (0 to 2)

Green	Signaling and framing present
Yellow	Remote alarm indicator
Red	No signaling and framing

ENET

CTRL0 / CTRL1

DATA A0 / DATA A1

DATA B0 / DATA B1

DATA C0 / DATA C1

DATA D0 / DATA D1

Green	Link present and active connection
Yellow	Link present and standby connection
Red	No link
