Installing PBXact on your own hardware

  • Download the FreePBX 15 Distro from the download page at https://www.freepbx.org/downloads/
Note: FreePBX 15 will turn into PBXact 15 once a PBXact deployment is activated.

  • Follow the instructions for installing the PBX Distro outlined on this page Installing FreePBX Official Distro

  • Once the install process is complete, locate your Deployment ID number from the Sangoma Portal or from your Invoice, and issue the following command:

fwconsole sysadmin activate XXXX     (Replacing XXXX with your deployment ID)

  • The activation process will install additional RPMs, and make the necessary changes to the GUI behind the scenes. The end result is a complete new PBXact system.  This process takes about 3-4 minutes.

  • When completed you can run the following End of Line testing and all checks should come back Passed.  If you have any failed checks wait 5 minutes and run again.  If you still have failed checks please open a support ticket here.

fwconsole sa eol

If you get same FAILED here , run

fwconsole ma installlocal ; fwconsole ma upgradeall ; fwconsole reload

Wait 1-2 mins and run the End of Line test and it should now show PBXact and all passed
