Cyberdata Paging Adapter and Speaker Provisioning Guide
Overview
This guide provides the basic instructions for provisioning both the Cyberdata Paging Adapter and Cyberdata Speaker.
Note: This guide is for Firmware Version 12.0.2
Accessing the WebUI of the device:
Ensure that your computer is connected to the same network as your Paging Adapter or Speaker.
Find the IP address of your Paging Adapter or Speaker by using method “a” or “b”:
Access the DHCP lease table (ARP table).
Press the RTFM pinhole button for 2 seconds on the device, and the device will announce the IP address.
On your computer, open an Internet browser. (Depending on your browser, some of the pages may look different and have different controls).
Type the phone's IP address in the browser address bar and press ENTER on your computer keyboard. The “Sign In” popup window appears.
Enter Username and Password. The factory defaults are:
Username: admin
Password: admin
Click the Sign In button. The WebUI Mappears.
Click topics from the navigation bar at the top of the page, and then select the desired setting on the left side of the WebUI to see the page for that setting.
Provisioning the Adapter
This section assumes the user has already logged on to the WebUI of the device.
Click the the “Autoprov” menu button ( second button from the right on the menu bar at the top )
Once the Auto Provisioning page displays, insert provisioning URL ( aka ShortURL ) into “Autoprovisioning Server” field.
Note: For instructions on how to retrieve the URL, see the Retrieve the Provisioning URL section below.
Click the “Save” button.
Once the Save is complete, click the “Reboot” button. (It will take the device a few minutes to fully provision.)
Verify Successful Provisioning
To verify successful provisioning, Click the “Home” menu button and verify the follow:
Primary SIP Server: Registered
Backup Server 1: Registered
The default credentials will have changed to:
Username - s2sadmin
Password – s2scyberdata
Note: In order to reset the Paging or Speaker Adapter to factory default, press the RTFM pinhole button for about 10 seconds.
