File Menu:
Open and Commit Configuration File- Opens a configuration (.csa) file. When Open and Commit Configuration File is chosen, a "Select Configuration File" pop-up screen will appear. Select from a list of .csa files in the menu. The selected .csa file will open in ClientView and then will be sent to the IMG. If there is already a file open in ClientView and a different .csa file needs to be loaded, you must close ClientView and GCEMS and then reopen them both. From here select 'open a new configuration' and a screen with all .csa files will appear. Select which .csa file you would like to open. The Open and Commit Configuration File menu will open a .csa file only if there is no system.cfg file or it is forced to save the old system.cfg and create a new one as explained above.
Save Configuration File- Save the .csa configuration file you are currently working on.
Exit- Exit and Close ClientView
Edit Menu:
Delete Current Object - Delete the object currently selected/highlighted in the Configuration Tree.
Commit Current Object - Once a new object is created it needs to be committed or sent to the IMG. By selecting 'Commit Current Object' the newly created configuration will be sent to IMG to be processed.
Undo Changes - When an object has been created, there are individual fields in each Object Pane that will need to be configured. If a change is made to one or more fields, the option of reverting back to the previous state is given by selecting 'Undo Changes' form the Edit Menu. This will revert the changes made in the ClientView pane back to its previous values.
Once the object is committed, the Undo Changes selection will be grayed out.

Under certain circumstances involving complex messaging between ClientView and GCEMS, Auto-Commit may be disabled and changes you make will not be automatically sent to the IMG. The fields in the Configuration Pane will be orange if this condition exists, and the box next to the Auto-Commit selection will not be checked. You can re-enable Auto-Commit by selecting Auto-Commit from the Tools menu.
