To create an Admin with low permissions:

  1. Go to Setup > Admins > Manage

Here is an example for an Admin you can which can at most add and remove users from the queue, but will not be able to make changes to user extensions.  The way to make this work is to use Groups.  The admin will be able to have read/write permissions for Groups but not read only write for extensions.  The call queues will be set to use groups only when instead of adding individual members to the queue.

Step 1: Create Admin account

  1. Create 'Supervisor' Admin with only Group Permissions as Read/Write

  2. Expand 'Extensions' permissions

  3. Manage set to 'Read Only'

  4. Groups set to 'Read/Write'

  5. All others can be set to either None or Read Only

Step 2: Create Groups.

Step 3: Create Call Queues set up with  Call Queues Agent Members set up to use Extension Groups
