This article is a companion document for the Switchvox Registration video and will guide you through how to register your Switchvox. 

 

Registration can be found in the Switchvox Administration portal by going to Server -> Maintenance -> Registration.

Note: If you're system is not registered, a warning link will appear when you log into your portal. Click on the warning to see the alert, then select Click to view to access the registration section.

Information required for the PBX Owner includes:

  • Company Name

  • Address

  • City

  • Postal Code

  • State/Provence/Region

  • Country

as well as contact information, including:

  • Full Name

  • E-mail Address

  • Phone Number

Note: renewal notices will be sent to this contact, so it is recommended to use a group e-mail address so multiple people are aware of these notices.

In the PBX Information section, enter your Switchvox Registration Code, which can be found on the cover of your Switchvox software DVD case. Subscriptions, warranties, and support levels are all linked to this registration code.

Finally, if you choose YES for Allow usage-data collection, this allows data to be collected to help with future improvements. 

 

Here, the reseller will enter their e-mail address to receive renewal notices. Note: if this PBX does not have a reseller, then leave this field blank.

After all of the information has been entered, select Submit Registration.

Once complete, you will see a Thank you for registering your PBX message.
