THIS WIKI HAS BEEN UPDATED FOR VERSION 13 OF YOUR PBX GUI

What is the Module Admin Module used for?

FreePBX, PBXact, and Sangoma PBX are names of computer programs that allow you to configure your phone system. They provide the graphical user interface (GUI) that you can use to set up trunks, routes, extensions, ring groups, and other modules. The GUI configures Asterisk, which is the program that actually handles your phone calls.

The Module Admin module is used to update your PBX GUI when updates or new modules are released. It DOES NOT update Asterisk.

It can also be used to add a new module, or remove or disable a module.

How Do I Get to the Module Admin Module?

  • On the top menu click Admin
