DC IMG 2020 powers up, but then shuts down.

Power source failed or does not provide the required level of voltage and current (-48 V DC / 6 A).

Ensure external power source is functioning at the required levels. If the power source is faulty, report or replace it.

AC IMG 2020 powers up, but then shuts down.

External circuit breaker has tripped on the panel.

Reset panel circuit breaker.

IMG 2020 is operating but the tray over heats.

One or more fans fail or one of the temperature sensors detects an over temperature condition in a critical area on the main board.

Fans increase speed to full on to supply the required cooling. Tray still over heats. Remove tray and replace according to the directions provided with the replacement.

DC IMG 2020 does not power up.

The -48 V DC power source is not plugged in or is not operating.

Check the power source for proper -48 V DC output.

The -48 V DC power source is not connected properly to the DC power module at the rear of the chassis.

Verify that the power source is connected properly. rewire the connections. For more information, refer to Connecting DC Power.

Tray not seated properly in docking station.

Remove tray and reinstall to ensure the tray is properly seated.

One of the voltages is out-of-tolerance on the low side. Main board shuts down.

Restart the IMG 2020.Remove tray and reinstall to ensure the tray is properly seated.

AC IMG 2020 does not power up.

120/240 V AC power source (outlet) is not plugged in or is not operating.

Check the power source (outlet) for power or proper output. Check for tripped circuit breaker. Reset circuit breaker or repair as necessary.

AC power cable is faulty.

Replace cable. For more information, refer to Connecting AC Power.

Tray not properly seated in docking station.

Remove tray and reinstall to ensure the tray is properly seated.

One of the voltages is out-of-tolerance on the low side. Main board shuts down.

Restart the IMG 2020.Remove tray and reinstall to ensure the tray is properly seated.
