Advanced Billing Number Parameter Translation
The Charge Number which is located in the ISUP messaging identifies the customer or account with which the caller is associated. The Charge number parameter conveys information sent in either direction indicating the chargeable number for the call consisting of the odd/even indicator, nature of address indicator, numbering plan indicator, and address signals. The IMG 2020 can be configured so the outgoing information such as Nature Of Address, Numbering Plan, and International Number Indicator can be translated. The settings selected in each of the fields will be included in the charge # parameter if the Billing # Translation field in the Translation Table Element object is populated with an outgoing number.
