SS7 - Destination - ISUP Group - ITU Location Number Assertion

The Location Number parameter is used for transferring information about the geographical area (e.g. region, country, city, etc.) of the origin of a call. The information is conveyed as a Global Title in the network layer SCCP. When enabled, the location Number is inserted into the SS7 outgoing IAM message based on the configuration. The P-Access-Network-Info header is not included in this feature.

Internal Network Number

The Internal Network Number Indicator (INN), which is not used for ANSI, specifies whether routing to an internal network number is permitted. This field is used to block routing to specific numbers that should not be directly accessible from outside of the network. For example, if a premium rate number is translated to an internal number, the subscriber is blocked from dialing the internal number to ensure that the appropriate premium rate charges are collected.
