Overview

This is the main landing page of the PBX Vega Gateway Module and displays a list of Vega Gateways associated with FreePBX / PBXact.

As shown in below screenshot, dashboard will display 

• IP , MAC .

• Vega gateway Model 

• Current running firmware

• Status 

• Action

Fetching Vega Gateway Status

FreePBX will fetch the status from every configured Vega Gateways on every VEGA_CACHE_EXPIRE under Advanced Settings.

Vega Gateway main landing page we have option to fetch status forcefully i.e. skip the cache and fetch freshly. We can use this if we would like to see real time status.

Dashboard Status 

Status column will display the current status of Vega Gateway.

This is a combination of two different state of Vega:

• accessibility 

• current activity

"Accessibility" can have following values:

• RUNNING - Vega is up and running fine.

• Down - Vega is not reachable to FreePBX/ PBXact. This can happen either during reboot or network connectivity lost.

"Activity" can have following values :

• "Update config failed"  → When we fail to update configuration to vega. 

• "Config applied failed" → Failed to apply the configuration to Vega.

•  "Reboot required"   → Update configuration done successfully and vega reboot needed to take affect of the new configuration.

• "FW uploading"  → Firmware upload process in progress. 

• "Unmanaged GW" → Vega gateway is associated with FreePBX but its not configured by FreePBX.  This can be use in cases where we only want to monitor the GW.

Dashboard Actions 

The following actions are available to perform for each Vega Gateway: 

1. Edit → Modify/Update the Vega configuration

1. Reboot → Reboot Vega gateway immediately.

1. Delete → Delete this gateway from PBX Vega Gateway Module. Once deleted, Vega gateway will no longer be associated with FreePBX/ PBXact
