Polycom® VVX® Business Media Phone Expansion Modules

VVX® 400 with Color LCD Module

All Polycom® VVX® business media phone models (300/310, 400/410, 500, 600) support up to 3 self powered, hot swappable Expansion Modules. There are two types of Expansion Modules:

Polycom® VVX® Color LCD Expansion Module

  • 4.3” TFT (480 x 272) LCD screen

  • Up to 3 self-powered modules (Note: VVX® 500's and 600's need a POE+ switch or external ac adapter to function correctly)

  • Can be fitted to any VVX® phone

  • 28 illuminated bi-color keys

  • 3 Page View soft keys to access total of 84 monitored contacts (3 x 28)

  • Page View soft key flashes green when an extension rings

  • Ringing extensions displayed as flashing green LED and handset icon * (ringing extensions can be picked up)

  • Busy extensions displayed as a solid red LED and busy icon *

  • * Up to 50 local extensions can be monitored for "real time" presence

  • No tools required to fit a module to a phone

  • Module is programmed via the Business Voice Portal / Individual Phone Settings / Speed Dials

  • Adjustable stand to match phone (60/50/40°)

Polycom® VVX® Expansion Module (Paper-Based)

  • 40 illuminated bi-color LED programmable line keys

  • Daisy-chainable for a total of 120 contacts (3 x 40)

  • Up to 3 self-powered modules (Note: VVX® 500's and 600's need a POE+ switch or external ac adapter to function correctly)

  • Can be fitted to any VVX® phone

  • Ringing extensions displayed as flashing green LED * (ringing extensions can be picked up)

  • Busy extensions displayed as a solid red LED *

  • * Up to 50 local extensions can be monitored for "real time" presence

  • No tools required to fit a module to a phone

  • Module is programmed via the Business Voice Portal / Individual Phone Settings / Speed Dials

  • Adjustable stand to match phone (60/50/40°)

Adding Speed Dials to your Expansion Module (with or without "Key System Mode")

  1. Access the Business Voice Portal - Individual Phone Settings / Speed Dials for the relevant extension or Destination

  2. Add up to a maximum of 50 local extensions to monitor "real time" presence. Other local extensions >50, remotes or destinations are shown as Speed Dials. Duplicate entries are not allowed.

  3. Save Changes

  4. Save Changes to PBX

  5. Reboot the phone

(Note) Phone Speed Dials are shown first including reserved Park Positions if the system is in "Key System Mode". Expansion Modules are listed below. Duplicate entries are not allowed.
