Fax Transmission Reports
Most fax machines have fax transmission reports as a feature, allowing the machine to generate and print a page indicating the final disposition of the fax that was just sent (success/failure). Given the FAXStation solution operates in a store-and-forward type manner, it is prudent to disable the local fax machine transmission reports, relying instead on the transmission reports generated and provided by the FAXStation platform.

By default, failure notifications are enabled on all accounts. This means if a fax job fails to the dialed destination number, and all retry attempts have also failed, the FAXStation platform will generate a return page that is delivered to the customer's fax machine.
Success notifications are not enabled by default, but can be enabled simply by opening a support ticket with the SIPStation and FAXStation support team.
