Sangoma CX Technical Note - How to fix Microphone Permissions Error
If you are receiving this message below it is caused by when you first logged in you may not have given Sangoma CX access to your microphone. To resolve this issue follow the steps below.
Google Chrome:
Click the setting icon, which is the 3 dots to the right of your profile icon.
Select Settings
Select privacy and security in the left navigation panel.
Select Site Settings
Select Microphone
Scroll through the list of Not allowed URLs until you find an entry with “starcenter.star2star.com” . Click on that URL
Under permissions, click on the options drop down to the right of the Microphone settings.
Select Allow
Microsoft Edge:
Click the setting icon, which is the 3 dots to the rights of your profile icon.
Select Settings
Select Cookies and site permissions in the left navigation panel.
Scroll through the list URLs in the recent activity until you find an entry with “starcenter.star2star.com” with the detail “Microphone blocked”. Click on the right arrow “>” on that URL.
Under permissions, click on the options drop down to the right of the Microphone settings.
Select Allow
