Provisional ACL (F-6582)
Â
An Access Control List (ACL) defines remote access to a local Service IP address. Once created, the ACL is then associated with a local Service IP address to set access control to that local IP address.
An ACL can have a list of one or more remote IP addresses each with a Subnet prefix length. This is defined in the Access Control Subnet (ACS).
When an ACL is associated with a local Service IP address, a set of IP Firewall rules is generated. This defines access between the local IP address and each external remote IP address in the ACL.
After an ACL has been associated with a local IP resource, it is possible to modify that ACL. A modified ACL must be re-applied to the local IP resource(s) associated with it.
