Cisco Small Business
This example configuration was done on a Cisco SG200 50 port Small Business Switch. The assumption is that you are tagging both voice AND data VLAN in the phone configuration. For the purpose of this example, lets assume that the data VLAN is 108 and the voice VLAN is 3002. Also included in this example is an untagged VLAN on the same port as a default VLAN that could be used for initial configuration OR if you ever need to connect something other than the phone to that switch port. This tutorial also assumes that you've already built out your network with VLANs and trunking as appropriate and that you have decided which VLANs you want as voice/data/etc.
Under VLAN Management, select Interface Settings then click the radio button for the port you want to configure. In this example it's 'GE3'. Click the 'Edit' button at the bottom of the list to enter the configuration window for that port.
Set the 'Interface VLAN Mode' to 'General' and the PVID can be left default or set to whatever Administrative PVID you are using on your network.
Under VLAN Management, select 'Port VLAN Membership'. Select the radio button for the port you with to configure (again, GE3 in this example) and click 'Join VLAN' button at the bottom of the list.
From the list of VLANs on the left select one at a time the VLANs you want to configure on the port. For each one, select the radio button for 'Tagged' or 'Untagged' as appropriate for your network. In this example, we are using VLAN 108 for data and VLAN 3002 for Voice, with VLAN 100 as the untagged VLAN and an administrative PVID of 1.
