What is HUD exactly?
HUD is Fonality's Unified Communication software application which brings all of the power and control of a traditional operator switchboard right to the desktop.
Using HUD, Fonality customers have the ability to:
See the current status of other employees (on the phone or off, available for chat, type of current call, etc.)
Drag-and-drop to transfer calls
Click to leave a voicemail
Send SMS
View Call Queue Statistics
Check their own Voicemail
Much, much more...
All of the options listed above are permissible via the Extensions --> groups tab of the Fonality Control Panel. Administrators can control virtually every aspect of the HUD Client with one exception: HUD Chat is available for everyone and cannot be turned off.
How to install HUD Classic?
As of June 2018, HUD's Java Installer no longer works. To resolve this, you must install Java prior to running the HUD installer. You can use the version in the Files below (zip file), or download it from Java directly:

Accept the Download Agreement and download Java SE Runtime 8u171 - Windows x86 Offline:
