Note: This article is for HUD2 (legacy users) only.  For HUD3 or above click here. 

  

  1. Open your HUD client

  2. Click on File --> settings

  3. Click on Connection

  4. Click on the + sign next to Advanced Settings

  5. Add an 'x' after the Server ID in the box immediately to the right of 'Server'

  6. Click Apply

  7. Your HUD Client should automatically connect

Example: If your Server ID (SID) is '1000', and your 'Server' field shows sNNNN.pbxtra.fonality.com then you should change the 'Server' field to sNNNNx.pbxtra.fonality.com

NOTE: You must have TCP port 6600 open on your router/firewall and forwarding to your PBXtra in order to allow remote HUD clients to connect to your PBXtra .  Please see How do I verify ports for remote operations?
