Configuration
For the feature to function, a text file named loginTextbanner.txt must be created and loaded into the /opt/dialogic/html directory of the BDN EMS host installation. How this is achieved is up to the user. There are many different methods to create and load the loginTextbanner.txt file to the html directory. The information below is just one manner with which the feature can be configured.
In Windows, open a text file using a text editor.
Enter into the text file the information to be displayed in the text banner field of the login dialog box.
Save the file with the name loginTextBanner.txt. This exact file name must be used and is case sensitive.
Using a SFTP, transfer the file to the /opt/dialogic/html directory of the BDN EMS installation. The file MUST be transferred using the text or ASCII format.
Open a browser and enter the IP address of the BDN EMS host installation. At this point, the login dialog box will appear and display the text that was entered in the loginTextbanner.txt file.
Additional Information
The Configurable Login Text Banner field feature is supported only when the BDN EMS installation is being utilized. It is not supported on the direct connect standalone system that does not use the BDN EMS host.
When transferring the file, verify the file is transferred using the text or ASCII format. Failure to transfer in this format could result in the text not being displayed correctly or erroneous additional characters being added to the banner field.
The default factory system will be configured without the loginTextBanner.txt file and the login text banner will not be displayed.
