Call Monitor
The first way is by using a feature code extension.
Setup → Manage
Create Extension
Choose Call Monitor from the drop down menu
Set your call monitor group
Who can monitor
Who can be monitored
Save Call Monitor Feature Code.
With the Call Monitor feature you can silently listen in on another extension’s current call. For example, if you define *92 as the Call Monitor feature code, dialing *92202 will listen in on 202’s call without either party knowing.
While monitoring a call you can switch to different modes by pressing the corresponding digits on your phone:
Press 5 for whisper mode. This mode allows you to talk to the extension you're monitoring but does not let the other party hear you.
Press 6 for barge mode. This mode allows both parties to hear you.
Press 4 to return to the default monitor mode.

Add them to your Phone Book as an extended Entry.
Log in to the /admin
Setup→Permissions
Create Extension Permission Mapping
Choose, at least, your extension as the permission holder
Choose, at least, one target to monitor.
Be sure to select YES for the options to Monitor and any other permissions you wish to grant yourself
Login to your extension under <ipaddressofpbx>/main
Load Switchboard
Mouse over the plus icon for the extension's phonebook entry.
This will let the Holders silently listen in on the target’s current call. This includes monitor, whisper, or barge.
