Vega 4 x 4 VoIP Gateway

Sangoma’s Vega 4 x 4 connects analog private wires, audio sources and the PSTN to SIP networks for up to 16 calls

Up to 4 modules, each supporting 4 ports, are manually installed into the chassis, providing FXO, FXO, GenGen, Audio Ports to the RJ45 connectors 

End User Module Installation Required. This requires End-User to open Vega 4x4 chassis. Please refer to the Module Install Guide

Applications

Open, Non-Proprietary Interfaces

The Vega 4x4 Supports SIP and T.38 Fax

Four module slots are available for different module types, each with 4 ports, and can be populated in any configuration.

The module types available are:

  • FXO for connection to PBX extension lines or the PSTN

  • FXS for connection to analog telephones or trunk ports

  • Audio for connecting two-way audio sources

  • SIP to SIP call routing

  • GenGen for connecting GenGen or magneto type lines 

The Vega 4x4 gateway has proven interoperability with a wide range of existing telecommunications and VoIP equipment.

ENP – Enhanced Network Proxy (Optional)

This option enables continuity of service during WAN/SIP outage and may be configured to operate in a number of ways including:

  • Standalone proxy

  • IP device survivability

  • IP device call routing

  • Emergency call routing

  • SIP to SIP call routing

Density

  • With up to 16 ports of FXS, FXO, GenGen, Audio (dependent on the type of module(s) installed) in a chassis that is only 1U high & half a rack deep, these gateways provide exceptional density
