IMG 1010 - Bearer Capabilities Override

Description:
The Bearer Capabilities are part of the Q.931 SETUP messages and define the characteristics of a call. The Bearer Capability parameter used by the calling party specifies the B-Channel that is being requested. The Bearer Capabilities Override pane will configure the IMG to either pass-through (ignore) the bearer capability or change it to a pre-selected parameter from drop down menu.
Accessing this Pane:
Dialogic IMG EMS -> Routing Configuration -> Channel Groups-> Channel Group (ISDN) -> ISDN Group -> Bearer Capabilities Override

Coding Standard:
Ignore (default)- Propagate the Coding Standard to the Outbound SETUP message.
CCITT (ITU-T)- Change the Coding Standard to CCITT in the Outbound SETUP message.
ISO/IEC Standard- Change the Coding Standard to ISO/IEC in the Outbound SETUP message.
National standard- Change the Coding Standard to National Standard in the Outbound SETUP message.
Standard for Network side of interface- Change the Coding Standard to Standard for Network Side of Interface in the Outbound SETUP message.
Information Transfer Capability:
To set the Information Transfer Capability you must also set the Coding Standard to a value other than Ignore.
Ignore (default)- Propagate the Informational Transfer Capability to the Outbound SETUP message.
Speech- Change the Information Transfer Capability to Speech in the Outbound SETUP Message
Unrestricted Digital Info- Change the Information Transfer Capability to Unrestricted Digital Info in the Outbound SETUP Message
Restricted Digital Info- Change the Information Transfer Capability to Restricted Digital Info in the Outbound SETUP Message
3.1 kHz audio- Change the Information Transfer Capability to 3.1 KHz audio in the Outbound SETUP Message
7 khz- Change the Information Transfer Capability to 7 KHz audio in the Outbound SETUP Message
Video- Change the Information Transfer Capability to Video in the Outbound SETUP Message
Transfer Mode:
Ignore (default)- Propagate the Transfer Mode to the Outbound SETUP message
Circuit Mode- Change the Transfer Mode in the Outbound Setup message to Circuit Mode
Packet Mode- Change the Transfer Mode in the Outbound Setup message to Packet Mode
User Information layer 1 protocol:
Ignore (default)- Propagate layer 1 protocol to the Outbound SETUP Message
G.711 u-law- Change the layer 1 protocol to G.711 u-law in the Outbound SETUP Message
G.711 A-law- Change the layer 1 protocol to G.711 A-law
G.721- Change the layer 1 protocol to G.721 in the Outbound SETUP Message
H.221 and 242- Change the layer 1 protocol to H.221 and H.242 in the Outbound SETUP Message
H.223 and 245- Change the layer 1 protocol to H.223 and H.245 in the Outbound SETUP Message
