Cabling Multiple Subnets
The 2020 IMG can be configured in a number of different ways. This topic illustrates the following cabling options:

Configuring and Cabling One Subnet
To configure using one subnet, all information including Signaling, Data, and OAMP functions are sent over one subnet. The table below lists the configuration settings.
With different IP addresses for Control, Signaling, and Data:

Configuring and Cabling Two Subnets
To configure using two subnets, combine the signaling and data on one subnet and the control on a separate subnet. The following table lists the configuration settings. Some of the settings are from the IP Address object:

Configuring and Cabling Three Subnets (Signaling and Media Separate)
To configure using three subnets, control, data, and signaling are each on their respective subnets. The signaling and data ports must be connected to separate physical devices. The following table lists the configuration settings. Some of the settings are from the IP Address object:

Configuring and Cabling Three Subnets (Two SIP Networks with Signaling and Media Combined)
To configure using three subnets, the control is on one subnet, both SIP signaling and RTP Data are on a second subnet, and both SIP Signaling and RTP Data are on a third subnet. This configuration can only be applied when SIP signaling is being configured.
