Certificate Database

The Certificate Database object is a parent or container object. The Certificate Database creates a database for security certificates. These certificates are used along with a key to encrypt/decode messaging being received and/or transmitted for SSH, HTTPS, and TLS security. Under the Certificate Database object, the individual Certificates are created. Each certificate is referred to as a Trust ID or Certificate ID. There is a single database for  IMG 2020's being configured. This database is then configured on each IMG 2020 by uploading the Trust ID entries using FTP.

The certificate files need to be loaded to the directory that the IMG 2020's system software binary file is being loaded from. If the IMG 2020's system software binary file is being downloaded to the IMG 2020 from the SD Card, then the certificate files need to be loaded onto the SD Card. If the IMG 2020 binary is being downloaded from a server using the DHCPD service then the three certificate files need to be loaded into the directory that the binary file is loaded.
