Running 32-bit Natural Access applications on 64-bit Windows 2008

Symptoms

  1. When Dialogic® Natural Access 9.0.2 is installed on 64-bit Windows, compiling 32-bit code fails.

  2. When Dialogic® Natural Access 9.0.2 is installed on 64-bit Windows, an old 32-bit application will not run. 

Fix

Patch 9207 is a special release of Natural Access 9.0.2 with mixed mode support for Windows 2008 R2: it provides 64-bit drivers and 32-bit APIs.  

Notes:

  1. To install patch 9207 you must first uninstall NA9.0.2 from the system.

  2. With patch 9207 installed, you can run an old 32-bit Natural Access application on 64-bit Windows 2008.
