Dialogic Voice Cards - ISDN WAN Miniport Driver - 64Kbps Dial-up Connection

The ISDN WAN Miniport device driver is integrated with Windows 2000 for both incoming and outgoing dial-up networking connections.
It is possible to use the ISDN WAN Miniport as an ISDN RAS server, ISDN RAS client, and for ISDN Internet access.
The following information describes each setup and configuration, using 64kbps.

 

  1. Open Control Panel, and then Network and Dial-up Connections

 

  1. Select 'Dial-up to the Internet'.

 

  1. Select the radio button to make the connection through a LAN.

 

  1. Choose 'Phone line and Modem'.

 

  1. Insert the connection information for your ISP.

 

  1. Insert the ISP account details (if the password is left blank, ignore the warning message).

 

  1. Insert suitable name for the connection.

 

  1. Make a dial-up test.

 

A successful connection should look similar to the screen below.
