Setting Up a Development Environment

Running FreePBX out of GIT is not intended for end users! You should only follow this guide when you are setting up a FreePBX Development Environment , and should only be done on non-production machines. The Development Environment of FreePBX is not stable and changes are made in the development tree that have not yet been tested or released.

By using FreePBX out of GIT, you are doing so at YOUR OWN RISK.

When doing FreePBX Development, you are also advised to use the '#freepbx-dev' IRC Channel on Freenode, as you will then be able to speak to other developers in real time, who may be able to help you with any problems you may have.
