Route by Caller ID - How do I route different caller numbers to different menus?

  1. Click AutoAnswer --> edit call menu

  2. Under the Add New Sequence section, select "After Step: 0, add new step: Go to ext/submenu by Caller ID"

  3. Click "Apply All Changes"

  4. The Admin Panel refreshes and your new sequence appears as step #1 immediately after "Answer the incoming call"

  5. From the first drop-down menu within this new sequence, select a sub-menu or extension

  6. In the second box, type in the Caller ID you wish to "capture" and route away from the Main menu.  Note that you can add multiple instances of "route by Caller ID" into the Main menu or any sub-menu.  Companies frequently use this option when they have VIP customers or perhaps wish to route the CEO/President directly to his/her assistant without having to dial an extension.

  7. Click "Apply All Changes"*
