How do I add linked-server extensions to my ACD queues?
In order to route queue calls from one server to agents on a linked server, you must make sure the servers are linked, add the linked-server agents to the queue, and log them into the queue.
To link your servers, follow these steps:
Click on Options --> link server
Any servers capable of linking with your server are listed under the 'Link with another PBXtra server:' drop-down.
Select a server from the drop-down
Click 'Link Server'
To add linked-server agents to the queue, follow these steps:
Click on ACD --> view queues
Hold the control key and click on every agent that should be a member of the queue. Â Available agents are listed by Server ID in groups. Â Once all relevant agents are highlighted, click 'Add Agent'
From the Ring column, select the duration in seconds that each agent's phone should ring. Â 1 ring is approximately equal to 5 seconds
Click 'Apply All Changes' at the bottom of the page
To log your agents into all queues at once, follow these steps:
Dial *54 (Remember that *54 = *LI or LOG IN)
Enter the Agent's extension number
Enter the Agent's voicemail password (numeric only)
The PBXtra will say 'Agent logged in'
Your Agents are now ready to receive calls from any queue where they are a member
