Fonality - Relax my DTMF/keypress settings or fix touch-tone keypress recognition - How do I?

DTMF stands for Dual Tone Multi Frequency and serves as the technology that interprets when a caller presses one of the menu options listed in your Main Menu.

If customers report that nothing happens when they press a key from the main menu, your carrier may not be passing DTMF tones within the strict boundaries of the default DTMF interpreter.

If you have Analog or PRI trun ks and would like to relax the DTMF setting:

  1. Click Options --> settings

  2. Scroll down until you see "Relax DTMF"

  3. Click the radio button next to "yes"

  4. Click "Apply All Changes"
